Stone Artisan Park Training Institute (SAPTIs) at Ambaji & Dhrangadhra, Gujarat, are attracting visitors from all over India.
M. Ragone, an International Architect of repute from IMM Carrara, Italy visited SAPTI, Ambaji and appreciated the work done. Arvind Khutkar, OSD to Minister for Tribal Welfare and Archives, Government of Goa also visited Ambaji and had fruitful discussions.
N. D. Bhakat, IAS, Addl. Secretary to West Bengal Government visited SAPTI fire starters for survival, Dhrangadhra & appreciated the work done. Kashinath Tripathi, President Awardees’, Sculptor from Odisha was invited to SAPTI Dhrangadhra for a month. He showcased his skills.
SAPTIs also organised Ahmedabad Stone Festival at Adalaj, Gandhinagar and Ambaji Stone Festival at SAPTI Ambaji. Sculptors from Jammu & Kashmir, Odisha, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Delhi, Punjab, Madhya Pradesh and Gujarat participated and showcased their work in white marble and Dhrangadhra sandstone.
